We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping families overcome the rising cost of competitive youth sports — so financial barriers never decide who gets to step on the field.
Participation fees, travel costs, and equipment expenses keep climbing. Community and town-based programs keep shrinking. The result: too many kids are being priced out of the chance to play, compete, and grow alongside their peers.
Founded by a lifelong athlete and passionate sports supporter, New England Sport Foundation exists to make sure financial barriers never decide who gets the opportunity. We believe every child deserves access to sports — regardless of family income.
Hard work, discipline, perseverance — the lessons learned at practice translate into every part of a young athlete's life.
Teammates become lifelong friends. Coaches become mentors. Every kid deserves a locker room to call their own.
Three concrete ways we knock down the barriers — fundraisers, venue partnerships, and direct family assistance.
The Foundation runs its own year-round fundraising program — and we partner directly with gyms, clubs, and teams to organize their own. Whether it's a community 5K, a gym-led raffle, or a tournament concession stand, every dollar moves us closer to another kid in the game.
Our volunteers staff concerts, games, and major events at premier New England venues — including Gillette Stadium in Foxborough and the Xfinity Center in Mansfield. Each shift translates into real funding for the kids and families counting on us.
Every kid deserves the locker room, the bus rides, the shared wins, and the lessons only a team can teach. But sports cost money — registration, equipment, uniforms, travel, tournaments — and for many families, that's the wall between the season and the bench. Helping families clear that wall is what we're here for. So more kids get to keep playing, alongside their teammates, where they belong.
